This is one of my Favorite Bobby Humphrey albums "Satin Doll" 1974. For the longest time i was looking for who did"My Little Girl" maybe if i asked around or did a bit more homework it woulnt of taken me as long to find out it was Bobby Humphrey the whole time. So from the get go this is a pretty upbeat album "Satin Doll" has a great PATENTED Bobby Humphrey power flute, hook. its really catchy and the piano in it holds it own as well. If your a fan of Brand Nubian you will immeditaly knotice the samle on "San Fransisco Light" this track is kinda dull , juss shouldnt of arranged it right after the 1st two upbeat tracks. Alright im not gunna review every track on this album. Basically if ya know Bobby's stuff you will know there is tons of flute and soulfull tracks.
