This is one of my favorite ol'BDP tracks. for 1986 this track juss seems to be pushing the borders for the time. with the up tempo drums and they way scott la rock was sampling james brown. not to say that he was the 1st but he did do it with finesse, espically on "poetry" this was the stand out track for me on criminal minded. now i know lotsa people might call me a idiot with tracks like south bronx, super hoe, the bridge is over etc etc on this album, wich hold their own weight but its juss the energy the krs brings in this track. still holds up today!
